1. Introduction

I like snow globe, because it is very beautiful and there are a lot of design of it. It fascinates me. However, generally, we don’t know about snow globe deeply. So I will introduce snow globe, and I want you know about it. First, I will write about history of snow globe, then I will write about how to make snow globe.

2. History of Snow Globe

People say that origin of snow globe is paperweight. In 19c, it was used by Europeans. In 1889, Exposition Universelle de Paris 1889, Expo 1889 was held, and in the Expo, the snow globes of Eiffel Tower motif were sold. Visitors bought it, so the snow globe was spread in the world. Then, the snow globe became standard goods of souvenir. In 20c, many parts of the Europe made factories of the snow globe, and in the factories, a lot of snow globes of landmark motif were made. In 1920, the snow globe was exported to America and Canada, and 10 years after, it became famous in there.

3. How to Make Snow Globe

We can make snow globe at home, and we can enjoy make it easily. We prepare small doll, bond, dome, pedestal, white powder, refined water, rubbing alcohol and glycerin. First, we stick small doll on pedestal, and let it lie for three days to dry completely. Then, we apply bond to the trench of the pedestal, and cover the pedestal with the dome. Next, we put the white powder into the dome. After that, we pour refined water into the dome, and put a drop of detergent into the dome to protect corrosion. Then, we stop up the dome, and let it lie a day. Finally, we soak up the refined water inside the dome to reject, and pour the same amount of glycerin and refined water into the dome. Finish!

I wrote history of snow globe and how to make snow globe. I have not known about snow globe until I researched about it. However, after I knew it very much, I like it more. I want to collect snow globe, so please tell me if you find nice snow globe.
